Nicholas G. Popovich Teaching Portfolio Award
The Nicholas G. Popovich Award is given to an IPTEC participant who meets several of the following criteria:

Develops an exceptional teaching portfolio

Possesses characteristics consistent with a future successful faculty member

Displays attributes consistent with an effective mentor and preceptor

Exudes passion for a career in pharmacy academia

Expresses interest in the scholarship of teaching

Offers insightful feedback to the IPTeC participant

Provides an atmosphere of openness and encouragement

Serves as an excellent role model

Offers support in a variety of areas—teaching, research, and engagement (clinical practice)

Reviews the teaching portfolio thoroughly
-
Exudes passion for their professional interests
-
Demonstrates leadership in a variety of professional avenues

Exposes the IPTeC participant to professional opportunities (networking, resources, or meetings)
